Our Mission

Nonprofits are best served when they can devote their energy to supporting their clients without the distraction of searching for resources. Our nonprofit is designed to alleviate this burden by searching and organizing helpful resources, enabling nonprofits to concentrate on what matters most—their mission. Through community research and educational support, we help organizations access the tools and assets they need.

The Issue

Fund development is the most cited challenge for nonprofit organizations.  Through a needs assessment conducted by Michigan Community Resources (MCR) staff, 91 percent of participants, by personal interviews, and 72 percent of participants, by survey, named fundraising as an issue (2025).  MCR researchers found that, “Organizations in decline may be more uncertain about the future of their funding and how to access the funding they need for growth” and those without a formal fundraising education limits fundraising success (2025).  Similar studies conducted by Giving USA and the National Council of Nonprofits, “confirms that these challenges are widespread”
