Real Lansing FC
Real Lansing FC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing free, high-quality soccer and academic support to Lansing School District students. Our mission is to develop well-rounded youth by combining top-tier athletic training with tutoring and mentorship in a positive, inclusive environment. We proudly serve a diverse student population—including many refugees—and are committed to helping every player grow on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

Our mission is to provide direction to help Lansing’s urban teens discover their purpose by building resiliency so they can impact their communities.

Organized for charitable and educational purposes in order to receive and administer funds for developing and implementing programs that promote arts, youth education, and growth workshops/seminars, along with support programs and partnerships with other exempt organizations under a 501c3.
The Reading People
The Reading People works to eliminate illiteracy in our community by providing free educational support to anyone on a language-learning journey. We serve adults with personal or job-related literacy goals, any immigrant, refugee, or asylum-seeker learning English as a second language, and children at risk of falling behind in school for any reason. At The Reading People, we are committed to promoting equal opportunity and celebrating diversity in all aspects of our work.
